December Pub Knitting Report, Misti Chunky In Stock

A big thank you to all the attendees of our fourth Yarn Garden Pub Knitting event on Friday. It has become apparent that I'm a one pint knitter. Everything after that causes un-knitting. Do any of you have that problem too?

The staff and I would like to wish all of you a happy, fun and safe holiday season. Looking forward to seeing what's on your needles and hooks at our next gathering, Friday, January 15 at the Lucky Lab.

Jo

Breaking news: a big order of Misti Alpaca Chunky just arrived for quick knitting or crochet projects.

Ten-Year Anniversary Sale

Ten-Year Anniversary Sale! Come celebrate!
Yarn Garden’s Ten-Year Anniversary Sale September 1st - 13th.

I remember when Linda called to tell me she had decided to open a yarn shop. None of us had a clue it would grow from that first room to the entire storefront of the building. After the first year, everyone knew she had created a place knitters dream of.

In the spirit of that dream, come join us for an extraordinary sale honoring my sister Linda, and Yarn Garden’s first decade.

Our eye-popping sale will include 20% off Lana Grossa sock yarn, Ty-Dy Socks, Tofutsies, Soxx Appeal & Koigu sock yarn. For all you novelty yarn folk, we will have a huge selection at 75% off! Other sensational yarns will also be discounted to 50-75% off. Every purchase will include a free Noro pattern booklet (while supplies last).

OK, I just looked at the sale list and I had to remind myself to breathe…

Lantern Moon's "Beat The Winter Blahs" Event

Here's the report from Jo:
"Boy oh boy, Sharon, Joel, Bruce, and the staff at Lantern Moon really know how to put on an event. Last night was fabulous! Their warehouse was enchanting with giant silk hanging lanterns, great lighting, and a huge nosh table in the center of the room. There was a screening of January's Spring TNNA Fashion Show in San Diego. The place was hopping with lots of dialogue, raffle drawings, and laughter; a great time was had by all! It was also a pleasure to meet the other shop owners and finally connect their name with a face. Great job Lantern Moon, sign me up for next year!"
