Closed 4th of July

We are going to be closed this Saturday, July 4th but will have regular hours on Friday (11am-6pm) and Sunday (12pm-5pm). Have a safe and healthy 4th and try to get a bit of knitting or crocheting in while celebrating!

June 25th - Come to Stitch 'n' Pitch!

Join us, Thursday, June 25th for Stitch N’ Pitch 2009 at PGE Park - Portland Beavers vs. Reno Aces – game time 7:05 PM.

We will be collecting chemo caps for charity at the game. From now through game day, we have discounted yarn, free knit/crochet pattern for Chemo Caps, and tickets to the game for $10.00 in the store!

We hope to see you there but if you can't make it to the game, you can drop off your completed chemo caps to the store.

Book, Magazine Sale continuing this weekend!

We are going to continue our big book and magazine sale through the weekend! All new books in the sale area are 60% off of original prices and sale magazines are $1.00. We also have some wonderful vintage and used books that are priced as marked. This is a wonderful opportunity to grab some gifts or just increase your library!

Big Book Sale this Friday the 12th!

We have a new and used book sale this Friday June 12th from 6pm-9pm. We will have loads of books, magazines, and patterns at great prices. There are many titles you will recognize as well as some charming vintage books. Chances are you will find that book you have been wanting to buy but just couldn't justify paying regular price. Our store will be open during those hours as well so you can buy yarn to go with the patterns you just picked up!

Storewide Sale & Win a Mother's Day Gift Basket


We are having a storewide sale starting tomorrow, Saturday April 25th. Many yarns are 40% off including many mohairs, some Noro, Anny Blatt, cottons, baby yarns, silks.... Look for the sale tags all over the store. Our sale on Adrienne Vittadini, most Prism, Colinette, and assorted other items are still going on as well.

Also, remember that if you want to donate to our food drive benefiting the Oregon Food Bank, you can still drop donations through Sunday April 19th.

Food Drive April 16th, More New Arrivals ....

Please join us Thursday, April 16th 6:30 – 8:30pm at the Yarn Garden, for a food drive to benefit the Oregon Food Bank. Due to the decline in the economy, home foreclosures, and job losses we are asking for your help. Bring a can of food, your current knitting or crochet project for show and tell and we will provide the refreshments. If you would like to donate but can't come on Thursday evening, you can drop off your donations during store hours between now and April 19th.
