An Evening With Jared Flood
An evening with Jared Flood is just over the horizon. Please join us on November 17th, 7-9pm at the Yarn Garden. Jared’s wonderful book, Made in Brooklyn will be available to purchase. If you couldn’t wait and purchased the book already, please bring it with you for Jared to sign. He will be bringing a few samples from his book for us to ooh and aah over. The staff and I are so looking forward to this evening with this very popular brilliant designer from our neck of the woods.
We will be serving a Portland tap beer, Blue Mountain Hard Cider, non-alcoholic beverages. and a little something with pumpkin.
Please email sales@yarngarden.net or call (503) 239-7950 to give us a heads up you’ll be attending. (We need to know how much beer to buy!)

October Pub Knitting!!
Our second Pub Knitting gathering was a hoot! We filled the pub with bodies, pints and lots of knitting. A huge thanks to the fun staff at Barley Mill. Their service was outstanding and they really know how to keep the pints and food flowing. Next month we may have to do a little pint monitoring. Two attendees tried to exit the evening via the closet!
Our next Yarn Garden Pub Knitting is Friday November 20th, 7-10pm at the Lucky Lab, SE. We are excited to see what everyone creates for our fall contest.
Happy knitting, crochet and exercising your pint arm!
Reminder: We need a ball park head count for each gathering, so please e-mail us at sales@yarngarden.net or call (503) 239-7950 to let us know you will be attending.

October Pub Knitting
It’s hard to believe it’s almost been a month since our first Yarn Garden Pub Knitting gathering. So pick a project, start exercising your pint arm, and mark your calendar for next Friday, October 16th, 7- 10pm at McMenamim's Barley Mill Pub, 1629 SE Hawthorne Blvd. We will tell you all about a little contest we have for you. Give us a heads-up with an email at sales@yarngarden.net or call at 503-239-7950 to let us know you'll be coming. We want to give the great staff at Barley Mill fair warning.
