Tupelo KAL

Get started on your spring/summer knitting and join us for the Tupelo knit-a-long!  Tupelo, featured in the new Firefly booklet from Classic Elite is a seamless lacy triangle shawl knit from side to side with a ruffled edge.  It uses 3 balls of Firefly knit on a size US 6.  Pictured in color #7757 Chicory.

The Tupelo KAL will meet at Yarn Garden starting Sunday, April 1st from 2-4pm.  Knit-a-longs are a fun way to meet new people, learn techniques and have a nice afternoon of knitting.  I love seeing all the different colors and yarns people choose.  It's free to join and once everyone is done, we will randomly draw a winner to receive a gift basket from Classic Elite!  You can use any Classic Elite yarn to qualify for the basket.  The Tupelo in Vail or Allegoro would be beautiful too!

  The Yarn
Firefly is a sport weight 75% rayon, 25% linen that knits up to 24 sts/inch on a US 5 needle, $8.50 a ball.  We all love this yarn and have used it for shawls, scarves, cardigans and it holds up wonderfully!
We carry 15 beautiful colors from neutrals to bright jewel tones.

Call us at 503-239-7950 or email sales@yarngarden.net to sign up.
