Knit with 2 skeins of Sprout, a bulky organic cotton and US #9 needles, this shrug whips up quickly!  We used color Deep Saffron #4312.

 

 

Seed stitch gives the shrug a nice texture.

The Riptide shrug is featured in the new Classic Elite booklet, Surf #9181.  The booklet has 5 cute and summery patterns all knit using Sprout.

Sprout is a wonderful bulky weight 100% organic cotton yarn with a wide range of over 20 beautiful colors.  It's plied nicely with a thin strand of cotton running through it making the yarn very durable.  

 It's one of the softest cotton yarns I've ever felt!
